MFS continue their recent success with the appointment to construct nine apartments in Croydon using the Xella Silka Element building system.
The team at MFS are very pleased to announce that they have recently been appointed by Westmount Square Ltd to deliver the complete structural envelopes of nine luxury apartments over five storeys using the Silka Element system.
This project represents another milestone for MFS as they have taken total Design Responsibility for the Structural Design and have addressed all associated Class 2B Disproportionate Collapse works.
With the combination of the Silka Element system, PCC floors, balconies and other components, together with their In House Design team, MFS are now proud to bring their own DfMA approach to market and see massive opportunity in the ‘medium to high’ rise residential sector.
Work started on site earlier this week with the arrival of our 2 welfare units and storage containers from R.S.French and also our Lissmac Mini-crane and confidently project a 14 week construction period on site, saving our client 11 weeks in time and an estimated 12.70% on overall build costs.
“I am truly astounded by the progress at my latest project using the Silka system. The efficiency of MFS should have the whole project completed on target in 14 weeks.”
