Masonry Frame Systems (MFS) is a specialist frame contractor based in Kent, which operates throughout London and the South East of England. MFS was established in 2004 by Norman Hinckes and Robert Pointer. Working in partnership with manufacturers Xella and H+H Celcon, the company have been instrumental in the development of the Rå House system, and have quickly established as one of the UK’s leading thin joint blockwork practitioners.
At the heart of every project MFS engage, we look to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the building / buildings or complexes in terms of its Construction Format, Build Time, Cost and its Real Life Performance. From our earliest involvement, we seek to design out all unnecessary waste, improve the build process, reduce or negate all or any potential defects and improve the build quality and whole life building performance whilst managing within any budget constraints.
Off-site manufacturing and DfMA is now fast becoming a mainstream and intelligent approach to building, it tackles a number of the current day construction challenges, significantly improving productivity, reducing downtime, substantially quicker and more cost effective, also helping to attract new entrants to an otherwise ageing workforce..
For ‘low rise’ general needs housing we are able to offer a full height aircrete wall panel system where we are able to build the structural envelope within 6 days and achieve weather tightness within 10 days. And for ‘medium to high’ rise construction, our semi ‘offsite’, hybrid masonry / concrete frame solution is suitable for all Flats, Apartments, Care and Extra Care, Student Accommodation and Retirement Homes up to and including 10 storeys high.
From design to delivery, DfMA and Offsite Manufacture ensures every step is a success and there is zero waste on site.
