Matt Smith crowned ‘Golden Scoop’ of 2010
Matt Smith has seen off stiff opposition to scoop up the title of Golden Scoop for the 2nd time in 5 years, the first person to regain the prestigious title. Matt was first crowned Golden Scoop back in 2006. He has been an invaluable member of the team since 2006 and has worked on all sites this year and was key to our success of the Addlestone site we carried out for Wates Living Space earlier this year. The Twins win the Golden Scoop Award for 2009.
Identical twins Dean and Darren Derrick have won our Golden Scoop Award for 2009. It was difficult to pick a winner nor tell them apart so a special; twin scoop was procured and the twins, our very own Jedward, scooped up the title.
Dean and Darren have worked on all of our sites this year, the most memorable being the Gidea Park contract at Romford in Essex where they built a 5 bed room house in Thin Joint in 8 days!

Matt Twelvetrees wins Golden Scoop Award for 2008
Our award of Golden Scoop of 2008 goes for the 1st time to a carpenter within our team, well done to Matt Twelvetrees.
Matt along with fellow work mates Gavin Fox and Malcolm Westcott have worked throughout this year on our main contract at Westbourne, and also on our sites Gravesend, Bridge and Merstham, carrying out the roof constructions.
2009 looks a challenging year for us all, so will a blocklayer manage to regain the Scoop back from the carpenters?
